Hati & Skoll Walkthrough

You can check out this link though it leaves a lot out.

• First get your armor on and you best weapon and tons of food or prayer pots.
• Go to Fremennik via the lyre, walking or seeing the wolf hunter in Barbarian Village.
• Now talk to citizen outside the gates of Fremennik.  If you did this last year he will replace your wolf hat and gloves if you do not have a hatchet on you he will give you one.
• He will tell you to see his sister Vitharr to the far west.
• YOU MUST SEE HER TO START AND GET REWARDS.  Just walk the the far west by the coast.
• You then go to the far east and once again kill Hati who will recharge your gloves and give you a cloak (just for looks).
• Then rearm and go back to Vitharr and build a fire and keep adding logs to the black pit next to her.
• This will summon Skoll and you kill him to get the boots that have xp rewards.

DO NOT FIGHT ALONE GET WITH A GANG OR JUST JOIN IN SOMEONE FIGHTING.

Christmas Event 2011

To grab the snake at the end of the event.  Just stand by a jumping pot and click on it as it jumps.

Thanksgiving Event 2011 for All

Quick and easy fun for all players both F2P and P2P.  This event takes just a few minutes and will reward you with an emote and a pet turkey (pet turkey for members only).  Take a look at my map below.  You will get a a list of items and you merely visit each shop to fill the order.  I have labled the map with all stops.  You may click on the map for a larger view.

Halloween Event 2011 – Deathcon II – Open to all Players

Note:  I did all of this except I needed help so this link to the Runescape Wikia will help with the puzzles.

Grab Eek, if you have him from last year though not required, and head over to the clan camp.  Just west of the clan camp talk to Frank.

Remember you can click on pictures for a larger view!

Frank will give you lanyards and you will start the event.  Head back to the clan camp and enter the portal.  Here is a picture of the event course:

Talk to Beauty the statue (located on my map above).  She tells you that you have to pick statues for the characters.  Here is the list and what to pick:

• Death = Green Dragon
• Famine – Giant Spider
• Frank – Glacor
• War – Demon Warlord

You go back to the portal spot and merely click on the plinth to choose the statue.  You can figure out the puzzle or look at my event map above or the picture I loaded:

Next you check back with Beauty to get the OK.  Now head north of Beauty and go into the building the Keep.  Go upstairs (stairs are in the corners) and talk to Infinity the spider and light his dance floor.  You can figure out many ways or just look at mine (I am facing East not north) that I got from the link at the top of the post.  You stomp on the tiles to light and can stomp to unlight if necessary.  You can click on the tile you want to light and walk there without messing up what you have done.

Check with Infinity to get the OK and then head upstairs to test the fireworks.  Talk to Frank to begin.  Use the link to get it done.  When done you will be with Frank again and he sends you to Death’s tent for your reward.

Basically you don’t need to click on your bubble by your name but merely put the following codes before typing:

/p  for public chat

/f   for friends chat

/c   for clan chat

/g   for guest clan chat

99 Cooking!!!! Updated!

My second skill cape. Me and Yiv and Fear Detroit now known as Dungeonaire in our matching cooking capes.

Thanks for the comment! I got my skill cape in cooking purely because it was my next highest skill xp. To achieve this I had been doing Shattered Heart a distraction/diversion. By doing strange rocks each week my xp in cooking shot up quickly. Also doing strange rocks raised my agility level too. I noticed I did not burn rocktails when I was at 90 cooking level. Most players wait until level 95 before doing rocktails but a high agility level assists you in other skills.

Clan Citadels!

I have no idea what this means but our pal Free Detroit has formed a clan and we joined so I took a look at the new portal to the citadel in the sky. It is located just south of Fally and west on the road from the south gates.

New Members Loyalty Programme

I just logged into the new members loyalty programme page and received 500 points with another 3k in points due in August. With these points you can trade for emotes, clothing, titles and more. See the Runescape homepage for information.

Crafting and Using Urns (Members)

I just started using urns. I had to make one for a task and then when I investigated the use of urns I found out that certain skills (fishing, cooking, mining, smithing, prayer and woodcutting) can get bonus xp if you use urns while doing the skill. I have a crafting level of 77 so I could make the highest fishing urn that collect guppies while I fish. While fishing for monkfish I filled an earn every couple of loads. This gave me 1900 xp for fishing. Really adds up fast. Take my advice and make lots of earns since they fill up quickly. Click here for link.

Easter Event 2011 Walkthrough

REMEMBER YOU CAN CLICK ON PICTURE TO SEE FULL SIZE!

Start event here at the usual holiday starting point which is south of Fally and north of Rimmington. Enter the portal.

Talk to the Queen of Sunrise to start event. Talk to Easter Bunny to get a hatchet and tinderbox. There is a bank chest there if you want to get a better hatchet. I recommend you do to save time.

Find a group of people getting ready to chop down evil tree. I did the holly tree but you can do the hawthorn tree too. When its chopped down search the tree for the year thing. Go back to Queen of Sunrise and after a cut screen it’s the wrong year thing. You need to get 3 keys from NPCs around the area. They are at the outer edges see pics below:

Now that you have all 3 keys follow the river to the big rock and use the stone key on it.

Go to the far end of the cave by the big pool and use your water key on the bubbles in the pool. Stairs will appear, climb down them and go through the tunnel.

When you exit the cave you will see a hammer and chisel, pick them up. Talk to the Ice Queen and be nice about it. Ask questions that have sympathy so she will tell you she has nothing to look at after winter is over. Tell her you will help her and use the chisel on the large ice/stone and choose to carve baby animals. Talk to her again and she will give you the “year” and return you to the Queen of Sunrise. Here is the reward:

Members can also do the task for the Ice Queen to get an ice tiara.

Over 7,000 Hits! So Long Sal’s Realm

I just noticed that our blog has over 7k hits. Woo hooo. Thanks everyone.

I have deleted Sal’s Realm from the links. The last two times I hit the link my computer shut it down for the spyware. Be forwarned.

Pretty Trees in Fally!

Look at the pretty trees at the Fally farming plot. When I teleported to Varrock it was the same old graphics. Hope the new graphics are in the works.
